Public access into Atlanta is available via the Acworth Park & Ride located just off I-75, where you can catch the Route 480 regional bus into downtown Atlanta or CobbLinc Bus 102 to the Arts Center MARTA station.
- Major Roads and Interstates—The city’s main route is historic Main Street along US-41 (or “Old 41) leading through the heart of town. Acworth sits along the I-75 corridor, a main north-south artery between Michigan and Florida, also running through Atlanta. The I-285 loop around Atlanta is located about 30 miles south along I-75.

Acworth consists mainly of single-family homes along with a few townhomes and apartment complexes. Most homes in Acworth have been built since the 1970s, with a handful of historic residences dated prior to the 1930s. Median home values in this area are about $235,000, making Acworth one of the more affordable cities in the region.
