Airports—The nearest airfield to Canton is the Cherokee County Airport located 7 miles northeast of downtown. For major scheduled flights, travel about 50 miles south to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, known as one of the busiest airports in the world.
Public Transportation—Canton is served by the Cherokee Area Transportation System, offering bus service to points across Cherokee County.
Major Roads and Interstates—Main arteries through Canton include GA-140 (Riverstone Parkway) GA-20 (Knox Bridge Hwy) and Marietta Road. Interstate-575 passes by Canton to the east, providing access southbound to Marietta and connecting with I-75 into Atlanta.
