- Airports—The nearest airfield to Canton is the Cherokee County Airport located 7 miles northeast of downtown. For major scheduled flights, travel about 50 miles south to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, known as one of the busiest airports in the world.
- Public Transportation—Canton is served by the Cherokee Area Transportation System, offering bus service to points across Cherokee County.
- Major Roads and Interstates—Main arteries through Canton include GA-140 (Riverstone Parkway) GA-20 (Knox Bridge Hwy) and Marietta Road. Interstate-575 passes by Canton to the east, providing access southbound to Marietta and connecting with I-75 into Atlanta.
