I used to be an agent for over a decade and changed career paths back in 2006, so I’m no longer an agent but know the industry and what to look for in an agent. I worked as the Buyer’s Agent on a deal where Tina represented the seller. It was such a pleasant and easy experience that when it came time to sell my home, I knew the best agent for the job was Tina Robbins.
Granted the market supply is down & the number of buyers is up, but Tina sold my home within 15 minutes of putting my home in the MLS system! An agent called her office to ask why there was no lockbox on the door and was told it was just entered. Instead of making the buyer come back later, Tina’s assistant ran over to the house with my key and opened the home for them and added the box.
That same night, that buyer made an offer and we also had another offer to choose from. The buyers required some repairs and Tina had that all taken care too. She was really a one-stop-shop. I didn’t have to spend time & frustrated energy finding multiple contractors to fix things. – Tina just took care of it for me.
I closed on the home a month later and I was on my way with a check from the closing table (which took place at Tina’s office because it was a convenient location for me). Tina always has her eye on the two most important things to a buyer or seller – Sell fast for the best price for the market and making it as easy a process as she can.
You just can’t go wrong with hiring her. She’s been in the business a long time, weathered the market down-turn and is STILL here and she’s just about the nicest person you’ll ever meet. Sort of wish it took longer to sell since it was such a pleasure talking with her – ok, not really, but you know what I mean! I hope my experience was helpful in your decision about selecting a realtor in Atlanta.
